This year, our Year 6 pupils are being encouraged to put their Faith into Action by carrying out a range of activities to achieve their Pin Award.
The Pin award allows pupils to see that their relationship with God has an outward and visible effect upon those and those around them. Children are encouraged to serve the community as it helps them discover more about themselves, each other and God.
So far Year 6 have carried out the following:-
- A Reflection at the Emmaus Village.
- Led Children in Need Fundraising by carrying out an assembly and creating posters around school.
- Organised the Operation Christmas Child project in school.
- Supported their Reception Buddies on World Book Day and throughout the school year.
- Carried out joint fundraising with their buddies.
- Created posters for the Easter Fundraising activities in school.
